“Sawadee Ka!” she warmly expresses. Her origins tracing back to Nakornpathom province, Thailand, a bastion of cultural heritage. Growing up immersed in a family-run culinary business, Chef Jah’s passion for cooking ignited at a tender age. For her, the kitchen wasn’t just a workspace; it was a sanctuary of learning and innovation, where treasured family recipes and culinary wisdom were imparted across generations.

With a lifetime devoted to the art of cooking, Chef Jah has mastered a diverse range of cuisines, from the intricate flavors of Thai delicacies to the refined techniques of Japanese fare and the comforting familiarity of Western dishes. Her culinary alchemy lies in the harmonious balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy – quintessential to Thai cuisine.


Her journey of culinary exploration spans over 15 years, marked by a string of accolades and triumphs. In 2017, she clinched the top spot at the Hilton Hotel Thailand Cooking Competition, showcasing unparalleled creativity and skill. Two years later, Chef Jah proudly represented Thailand at a prestigious cooking competition in Bali, emerging victorious as the best chef in Southeast Asia, a testament to her culinary prowess on the global stage.

Her tenure as a Thai Sous Chef at the Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit further solidified her reputation, culminating in a top 10 finish at the APEC plant-based Recipe Battle 2021 competition, hosted by Marriott International.


Now, Chef Jah embarks on a new chapter of her culinary odyssey at The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, where every day promises fresh challenges and opportunities for growth. As she steps into her role, she remains steadfast in her commitment to delivering authentic and innovative dishes that transport diners on a gastronomic journey through the vibrant streets of Bangkok and beyond.

As I sat there indulging at Sabai Thai’s new additions to the menu, I could honestly say that Chef Jah’s love and passion translate into everything she does, and I have tasted it, first hand. 5 stars!
